Trewint Tor is a small tor on the east edge of Bodmin Moor. The summit of Trewint Tor and the northern slope up to the top is on open access moorland. There are fine views at the top of the tor. Trewint Tor is close to the village of Trewint which is about 8 miles west of Launceston on the A30. Turn off the A30 where signposted to Trewint and follow the signs to Trewint. In the village, turn onto a lane where signposted to Westmoorgate and continue on this lane for about a mile over the cattle grid and up onto the moor. Along this lane there are several places where you can park by the road and then walk up to the tor.
