26 photos of Godrevy Cove, Lizard Peninsula
Godrevy Cove is a large sandy cove on the east side of the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall. Godrevy Cove is usually quiet as access is only via the coast path. At the north of Godrevy Cove, there is an area of rocks and beyond the rocks there is a small sandy cove called Leggan Cove. The nearest car park to Godrevy Cove is at Porthoustock, which is about 13 miles from Helston. At Helston take the A3083 to Lizard, after Culdrose turn left onto the B3293 and follow the signs to St Keverne and Porthoustock. There is a car park on the beach at Porthoustock. From Porthoustock take the coast path south, note that the coast path is on roads to the hamlet of Rosenithon (follow signs for "Coast Path Inland Route"). At Rosenithon turn left by the letterbox in the wall and follow this lane to reach the coast. Note that in 2023, the path from Rosenithon to the coast was closed due to "surface erosion". Photos include photos of Godrevy Cove and Leggan Cove.
