Moor Sand is a quiet shingle beach on the South Devon coast, a few miles east of the Kingsbridge Estuary. There is a very steep path down to the beach. The closest car park to Moor Sand is at Prawle Point which is about 30 minutes walking. Prawle Point is about 8 miles from Kingsbridge. Take the A379 east from Kingsbridge and at Frogmore turn right where signposted to East Prawle. Then follow signs to East Prawle. At East Prawle drive through the village past the green and follow the lane out of the village west. This lane leads to the Prawle Point car park. From the car park, walk east past Prawle Point and Gammon Head to Moor Sand.
