Porthbean is a sand and shingle beach on the Roseland peninsula in South Cornwall. The beach is only accessible on the coast path and there are no facilities. Porthbean is a few miles north of Portscatho and Porthcurnick Beach on the coast path and there is a car park at Portscatho or alternatively road parking at Rosevine above Porthcurnick Beach. Portscatho is about 15 miles from Truro on the A390 and A3078. On the A3078 just before Trewithian there are turnings to Rosevine and just after Trewithian there is a left turning signposted to Portscatho.
