The Avom Dam reservoir is a reservoir on open access moorland on the south east of Dartmoor north of the village of South Brent. A few miles north of South Brent is a small car park by Shipley Bridge and there is a pleasant walk alongside the river Avon up to the dam and reservoir with fine moorland views. South Brent is about 17 miles east of Plymouth on the A38. Photos include photos of the river Avon and photos of the Avon Dam Reservoir.
