Frenchbeer Rock is a rock outcrop on open moorland on the east of Dartmoor, near Chagford. At Chagford drive out of the village on Manor Road. Continue on this road and turn right where signposted to Kestor and continue on this lane for a mile or two, then turn left where signposted to Frenchbeer and then follow this lane through a farm and then up onto the moor. On the moor there are a few parking spaces by the road side and then a short walk up to Frenchbeer Rock. From Frenchbeer Rock, there is good walking north to Middle Tor and Kestor Rock.
