Leather Tor is a rocky tor which overlooks Burrator Reservoir in west Dartmoor. There are a number of walking routes to Leather Tor over open moorland and there are fine views looking down over Burrator. The easiest route to Leather Tor is from three car parks by Sharpitor on the Yelverton to Princetown road, the B3212. From the car parks walk to Sharpitor or slightly east of Sharpitor and continue south to Leather Tor. You can also reach Leather Tor from Burrator but the path up to Leather Tor is steep and difficult.
