18 photos of Bissoe Valley, South Cornwall

A few miles south of Truro in Cornwall, the river Carnon flows through the Carnon Valley into the Bissoe Valley. The Bissoe Valley was a former arsenic refinery but is now a nature reserve. There is a cycle/walking path from Devoran through the Carnon Valley whih leads eventually to the Bissoe Valley. Devoran is about 5 miles from Truro on the A39. There is parking at Devoran or alternatively at the Carnon Gate roundabout take the turning to Bissoe. On this road, go across at a cross roads (signposted to Bissoe) then turn left onto Grenna Lane. A short distance on this lane there is a car park by the cycle/walking path. Then take the path west to visit the Bissoe Valley.
