Babbacombe is a town to the north of Torquay. Below the cliffs at Babbacombe are two beaches, Babbacombe Beach which is a small pebble beach and Oddicombe Beach which is a long red sandy beach. Above the cliffs, there is a nice green with restaurants and cafés. The Babbacombe cliff railway provides a quick route from the cliffs to Oddicombe Beach, but there are also footpaths down and a small car park by Babbacombe Beach. Torquay is 24 miles from Exeter on the A38 and A380. At Torquay follow the A3022 to the Torquay sea front and then take the A379 north to Babbacombe. There are also car parks above the cliffs and limited road parking.
