Northcombe Plantation is a small woodland near Roadford Lake in West Devon. There is a circular trail through the wood which takes about 30 minutes to walk. Roadford Lake is about 16 miles from Okehampton on the A30. On the A30 at Stowford Cross, turn off and follow the road north, following signs to Roadford Lake. Drive past Roadford Lake and continue on this road for several miles. Then at a junction, turn right and continue on this road for several miles, until there is a junction onto the A3079. Here turn right and continue on the A3079 for about 1 mile and the entrance to Northcombe Plantation is on the right. There is a small parking area by the entrance.
