Stara Woods is a small woodland on the south east edge of Bodmin Moor in South East Cornwall. The river Lynher flows through the woodland and there are paths through the woods. Stara Woods is a few miles north of Liskeard. From Liskeard take the road to Upton Cross. Drive through Upton Cross and shortly after Darleyford, turn right where signposted to Lower Lake Shooting Grounds. Continue on this lane until Stara Bridge, which crosses the river Lynher. Just after the bridge there is a left turning to a small car park with room for 5-6 cars. Photos include photos of Stara Bridge and Stara Woods.
