Witherdon Wood is a large woodland near Roadford Lake in West Devon. There are a number of pleasant trails through the woods including a circular trail. Roadford Lake is about 16 miles from Okehampton on the A30. On the A30 at Stowford Cross, turn off and follow the road north, following signs to Roadford Lake. Drive past Roadford Lake and continue on this road for several miles. Then at a junction, turn right and continue on this road for several miles, until the Witherdon Wood car park which is on the right. There is also layby parking.
